Our Christmas feature is the Oscar-winning drama Going My Way (1944). Bing Crosby stars as a young priest clashing with padre Barry Fitzgerald (both won Oscars) as they try to save their city parish. Won 7 Academy Awards including for the song

Our season closes with the family action film The Goonies (1985). An all-star cast of child actors (now grown up movie stars) portrays embattled kids on a treasure hunt. Produced by Steven Spielberg.
