Would you like to do some fun activities with others in the church? Would you like to get to know people that attend our church and grow your friendship family beyond the Sunday worship service?
Since the "Fun and Fellowship" group started in our church six years ago, those that have been attending have many, many great things to tell you. For those of you not familiar with the group, we plan one activity per month and take June and July off for vacation.
Some of the fun activities which have taken place are: Gaither Concert, Bon-fire, Frankenmuth trip, Bowling Party,
AppleButter Festival
trip, and
the Gentlemen Songsters Concert
, just to name a few.
"Fun and Fellowship" activities are posted on the "Fun and Fellowship" board in the church's Fellowship Hall, with a sign-up sheet for the next event. We set up activities for the year and the people that volunteer
to head that event, so you may set your plans in advance. — Don & Sandy Wenburg

"Up, Up and Away"-
Fun and Fellowship is going to the Michigan
Challenge Balloonfest in Howell, Michigan,
one of premier summertime activities in our state.
Entrance
fee is $12 per carload, so we will definitely be
carpooling. Bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, sun glasses,
bug spray and perhaps a jacket for the evening.

"Toledo Mudhens Game"-
They will be playing Indiana. We will carpool from the church at 4:30 to have dinner at the Spaghetti Warehouse. Tickets are $9. Please pay Tom or Barb by April 14th and sign up on the sheet in the Fellowship Hall.

"Take a Trip to Alaska"-
Come and see the Ziesmer's fantastic trip through Canada and Alaska. Their photo DVD will be shown on the screen and Dale and Dianne will narrate.

"Game Night & Munchies"-
at the Dundee Senior Center. We will have two set-ups for WII Bowling, for a total of eight players. Other card and board games will be available, or bring your favorite game. Bring your favorite munchies. Ice tea, ice water and coffee will be furnished. If you want pop you will need to bring that, too.

"The Lights Before Christmas"-
At the Toledo Zoo.... but we will be going After Christmas. Meet at the church at 4:15 pm to car pool and eat at the zoo. Meet a 6 pm behind the Carnivore Cafe at the dancing lights for your "Olsen's Guided Tour". Nearly 50,000 feet of extension cords are used, that's almost 10 miles! If all the lights were strung end-to-end, they would reach nearly 70 miles.
Adults(12-59) $11, Seniors(60+) and Children(2-11) $8, Parking $6

Right After Church

Hidden Lake Gardens -
We will be car pooling and journeying to Hidden Lake Gardens to enjoy a Kentucky Fried Chicken picnic and viewing the beauty that the Lord has provided!
Our hosts, Betty Curley, Ann Buhl and Evelyn Tam will pick up the chicken and trimmings, so everyone will not have to stop. They will charge accordingly, and ask
you to bring your own drink.
...There is a $3.00 per person fee to enter the park...
